In this painting, part of my Cloudscapes series, I capture the feeling of drifting to carefree places, far from everyday reality. The floating fish represent freedom of wandering, whether in reality or just in our minds. The painting was inspired by seeing tropical fish while snorkelling and feeling pure joy in the quiet of the underwater world.
